After reviewing this chart, we established that there is only one thing we could keep and many things we would change, add, and expand on. This proves that this learning space does not benefit the children's development and does not give the children a sense of identity, there is lack of privacy, and authority that over powers the children's opportunity to be who they are. When designing a space, we needed to identify what we found valuable, what we are moved and inspired by (Clark, 2011). This center does not want to listen to what moves and inspires the children, and from our experience, the children have information they want to exchange. This research has given us knowledge and we all as adults were not wanted and can't imagine how the children feel when asking what it means to be in this place. The results were negative and we had to take the next step as a group. Since the practitioner didn't want to hear it, we went straight to the supervisor. She was surprised and never fully realized that the children were not involved. She took a careful look at the pictures and had to turn away from it. We could tell she was upset and she said, "I will look into some changes and can't thank you enough for bringing this to my attention." We have kept in contact with the supervisor and will try to go back and be a part in changing this center and the children's lives. This assignment was an amazing learning tool that brought tears to our eyes. We are thankful for this opportunity and will continue to implement the mosaic approach.
