What has been confirmed by the children using this tool?

This tool was effective because if gave the children an opportunity to speak without words. We didn't give any instructions as to what they should do and they were very excited to take pictures. Every child had a chance to use the cameras and were pleased when they were given a chance. It seemed as though the Apple chart, high sink, high window, camera, shoes, artwork, and the back of their friend heads were the most popular.

What new information has this given us?
This information has told us the beginning of what it means to be in their place. We had a lot of common pictures, which means that there are not as many things they can take pictures of. After reviewing the pictures, we felt/saw their emotions through their artwork, which had sad faces. Without making any assumptions, we moved on to the next step which was asking the children for a tour!
